The Ol Mesera Restaurant was designed and built-in Manyara for one reason, and that is celebrating Tanzanian hospitality. A feast for the senses, from the artwork, textiles, decor, friendly faces and the smell of the cooking fires burning.
Ol Mesera is absolutely amazing! If you want delicious food, good service and amazing cocktails this is definitely a stop you need to make! The food is a great twist on traditional Tanzanian dishes. They have a tapas style menu, which lets you share and try different dishes with a group to ensure you don’t miss out on anything. If you’re travelling the northern safari circuit it’s definitely a stop worth making!
We drove through the restaurant after a day at the Lake Manyara National Park, The restaurant is a pure gem, with such amazing food and amazing people…The hospitality at the place is top-notch, I honestly enjoyed all the meals from the starter to dessert…The lemon tart dessert is one of a kind…I definitely recommend
I would rather dine at the Olmesera than carrying a lunch box, this place is amazing, and they also offer free activities before dining; such as the painting tour, ebony tour and tanzanite tour….the food here is also amazing, my go-to dish would be the Nyama Choma….it`s a mouth-watering dish!
The Olmesera is a perfect place to dine while you are on a safari, they serve amazing modern Tanzanian cuisines. My favourite was the chips ugali…..tasty, crispy and a go-to for me! I definitely recommend the restaurant
